What happens if it rains on or during my event/birthday?- We understand plans don't always work out perfectly. As stated in our
Terms and Conditions, Old Cracker offers a unique 15 day reschedule option. In the circumstance we are at your event and rain occurs we will give 10-30 min to wait the rain out. Under no circumstance do we continue events when there is thunder or lightning.
Are three year olds to young for your birthday services?
- No, Old Cracker can accomodate children three years old and up. That includes water too! A member of the Old Cracker staff will be there to assist all children with riding the fire truck and shooting the fire hose!
Why do I have to pay a deposit?
- Deposits are used in order to secure an event for the date and time given. In the circumstance there was another inquiry for the same date and time, the event with a deposit will have priority. If deposits are not made, your date and time is still available until it is secured by a deposit.
Can I have my child's birthday at my apartment complex/at a park?
- If you will be hosting your event at an apartment complex or at a state park / city park, Please first inquire with whom is in charge of the facility you will be using and get permission before making any deposit with us. Upon approval, we will be glad to be apart of your event!
Do the children always get wet / is the water package ideal even when it winter time?
- Getting wet is an option available upon request. Children do not have to play in the water. All children will have the opportunity to shoot water from the fire hose. Water packages can still be a good idea even though it winter time! You may shoot water and shoot objects and not worry about getting wet!
I made a deposit and we dont have a location for the party. I would like a to cancel, Can I have a my deposit back?
- Unfortunately No, Old Cracker Fire Company provides the fire truck experience NOT the location. We would be more than happy to assist in finding a good location. Community Parks/Recreation Centers differs on their rules and regulations for our services. You must get approval of all activities we provide before placing a deposit. Homes are the best place. When a deposit is made, we do not book any other events for that time and day, which may result in other events not having the opportunity for the time you requested.
